Independent (SPHC) Pulse Pnt Stes at Fort Sam Hou

I can not say enough good things about this place. I called at noon to see if we could check in early and she was able to have the room done at 1:30 even though we weren’t suppose to get in til 3. The suite room is huge(like my three kids under 10 had so much room to run and play while in the room, comfy beds, full kitchen and the hotel staff are the most accommodating, nice and helpful people. They will be the reason our family returns. Went from staying the weekend to four days thanks to the lady up front who gave us a deal. They also brought us extra bedding so everyone was comfy. No matter how many times my kids stopped to talk to them or asked a million and one questions in five minutes they listened and responded to them just as if we’d asked ourselves. Then unexpectedly the lights went out for the whole hotel and all the hotels nearby they quickly made sure everything and everyone was okay, got someone out here and had the power on within 20min. Then this morning we went to get breakfast and the lady was down there and offered my daughter her own oat milk when I mentioned she has an allergy to dairy and even recommended somewhere we could go to eat that offered options she could have.

Satisfied with the room and facilities. Wish they had gravy for the biscuits. The beds just had sheets no blankets but got some from desk. I left my purse in a drawer and can’t get a hold of the motel by phone. Very good otherwise.

I really liked how inviting all the staff was. Savannah (sorry if I misspelled your name) checked us in and she set the tone for the rest of our stay. We stayed a total of 6 nights. The breakfast was great. There was a huge variety ranging from classic cereal/oatmeal/toast. To potatoes, eggs, sausage, waffles. The lady in charge of the breakfast area greeted you with a smile every day. The environment as a whole was laid back but the staff was very attentive. Any big attractions (zoo, Riverwalk, Legoland, Six Flags) was no more than 10 minutes away. Would definitely recommend for family trips.

Breakfast was good! Everything was good the service and everything but the room that we got smelled a lot like cigarette smoke and was bothering my little one. Had to buy febreeze and lysol to spray in the room

Staff was amazing. Our room was huge and very clean. They served breakfast everyday.
